{“In fact, friends have called me the “human Google” which, aside from being a bit of an overstatement, is a reference to my general breadth of knowledge. “How do you know all of this stuff?” I am asked this question often.”}

Dude, me, too!! Though, in my case, they call me a “walking encyclopedia”, or “Queen of resources”. Like you, though, I just know how to look stuff up… and I have a deep and undying passion for learning. 🩵

Your description of your Mom and Scrabble reminds me so much of how my Grandma used to be with that game. She was the “queen”, and you didn’t mess with her! lol She passed away last year… man, I miss her.

I'm glad it isn't just me!! My wife has the ability to ask a question and then, like, not seek out an answer. I'm in awe of her and cannot relate. Consequently, she's able to focus on the most important things and I'm off in left field researching what weeds tell us about the soil structure beneath them or whatever.

And I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your Grandma. Thank you for sharing that with me.

Thanks. And yeah, I can’t relate to your wife either. lol. Have you ever taken the Myers-Briggs personality quiz? I’d be curious to know if you’re a fellow INTP! 16personalities.com has a free version, if you’re curious

I took it when I was in high school: ENFP. But I was not the same person then that I am now in a lot of ways. The results may well be different now!

My results have certainly changed over the years. I was an INFP back in my teens.

What a lovely tribute. Your mother taught you well.

She really did. I'm just thankful I wasn't too thickheaded and she was patient! 😂
